Gingerbread House

Every year Grandma W. bakes a gingerbread house and she and Sissysnuggiekins decorate it. And this year Froggy was part of the tradition!

We had a wonderful time, and Froggy decorated gingerbread cookies with red-hots. She was very detailed and placed the candy in the center of the cookie. Her mama was impressed, that at age two, she understands symmetry. Ahhh yes, just another example of her GENIUS!

Dumb question, but I always wanted to know if you get to eat the gingerbread house eventually?

Are they edible or do you have to shellac them or something to keep out the rats?

P.S. obviously I was deprived as a child in never obtaining a real gingerbread house to experiment on!

Nope, no one eats it. Grandma W. said even the squirrels won't eat it. So sad.
