Smart Frog

Froggy was holding a stuffed animal dog and had the pup scratch his ear with his hind legs. I said, "Wow, that's exactly how dogs scratch scratch an itch, with their hind legs."

Froggy asked what 'hind' meant. I replied, "it means 'back', like back legs." And she said, "Oh like be'hind'."

I love these little discoveries. Four is the new six.

I know, isn't it great? LC insists that in the morning we 'fall awake.' When I tried to tell him that it's 'wake up' he very matter-of-factly explained back to me 'No Mommy. At night we fall asleep, so in the morning, we fall AWAKE.'

Can't argue with logic like that, can you? Fair enough, I haven't experienced older kid-ages yet, but so far, I'm convinced this is the best.
