A mama from the midwest is running in a marathon to raise money for CF research. We've never met in person, and she's running 26 miles for our daughter (and all kiddos with CF). How incredible is that?
We met online through a parenting website because she was concerned that her daughter had CF. We emailed back and forth and I told her about Froggy, how we were diagnosed and what the signs and symptoms were for us. Fortunately, her babe did not test positive for CF and is beautiful and healthy. Even with their daughter's clean bill of health, they now raise awareness and funds for CF research through the Boomer Esiason Foundation.
I'm so overwhelmed by their generosity, I have no words.
