That is indeed an exciting article, isn't it. When I went to the CF Education Day at UVA, the physician who was there addressed the drugs in the pipeline. It is really causing a buzz, isn't it.
The potentially wonderful outcome for kids like Froggy who will be growing up when these make it to the marketplace (assuming its promise is realized) is almost unbelievable. I'm impressed that the foundation has finally taken to spending money on R&D (or at least, funneling it to those who do) so that the treatment of this "orphan" disease may actually see real progress.
