We're Going to the Doc...again

Tomorrow morning (Friday) we have an early appointment at Children's Hospital.

Froggy has not been feeling well, digestively speaking since we returned from Iowa. So the doc wants to x-ray her belly to check if she's impacted. I'm sure we'll get blood work and other fun stuff, so keep us in your thoughts tomorrow.

It will be a long day. The hospital is about an hour away (with traffic) and we have to be there at 8:20am. Yuck. You all know how I feel about mornings...especially considering we have three respiratory treatments and breakfast to take care of before we leave.

I stopped at Target tonight and bought Froggy a new Barbie doll to open at the doc's. Hopefully that will be an even trade for x-rays, needles and hours of waiting. Yeah, right.
Maybe we'll stop for ice cream too.

Hi Froggy Mama-

I found your blog through Nate's list. I am also the mother of a 2 year old with CF and have a husband who just finished grad school in May. Like Froggy, my Seamus has GI issues and our day seems to revolve around pooping. I hope your trip to the doctor went well and they were able to help Froggy.
Your post on Monday about all the frustrations of being a CF mom really felt familiar. I don't have any advice but just wanted to let you know that you're not alone. Seamus favorite phrase seems to be "Mommy is yelling at me".
Take care -
Julie

Hi, FM, it's Friday afternoon, and I'm just now reading your post. I hope that you got some answers to Froggy's difficulties. Thinking of you both.
